Superleggera CLUTCH LIFE

The pre LP cars (2008 and older) were harder on clutches. I had an ‘08 SL and put almost 20,000 miles (30,000 km) and had 60% left.
I have seen an LP car with over 60,000 miles (100,000km) on the original clutch.

Tricks to prolonging life:

Shift the car manually instead of leaving it in auto mode. It’s easier on the clutch.

Use sport or Corsa mode. The shifts are quicker and there is less wear on the clutch.

Backing up a hill can be harder on the clutch. Often people who are reversing allow the clutch to engage snd disengage multiple times when backing up.
