Let’s hope they don’t wreck it like Paddy screwed that borrowed Diablo.

I don't think they will get the chance to drive it in the manner they normally drive the cars they borrow.

Good result which underscores the value of the SV we just sold.

The car was returned to original SV guise, I thought the reason for this was the fact that the Jota modifications were done post-production and not by the factory?

Looks to be 4812 which looks great since it's return to original specification.

I had the “opportunity” to lend my Countach to The Grand Tour. I declined. I like my car the way it is . . . . working.

Harry lent them his Countach and testarossa. Although Hammond and May were respectful, the racing driver threw them around the track somewhat.

I don't blame you for not taking the opportunity.

Hang on, you mean it was not behind a freshly bricked up wall ? :D

It lived behind a white brick-walled building which was thankfully spared as the car was able to drive though an electronic roll-up gate.

"No buildings were harmed in the recovery of this Miura!"

Yeah, hear you, but it's not as juicy as "barn find" and knocking down walls to "save" an example . . . .

That paint simply cannot be replicated. Ever. No restauration however thorough can ever come close to the fulness of the original!

Thank you all for the kind words about Chassis #4952. It is an incredible time capsule and we consider ourselves very lucky to have had Joe facilitating the purchase.

We will be sharing more content very soon!

And the following year with a right-hand-drive Bianco P400 with Nero leather (3372?) while filming sequences for "Quicksand", the second episode of her TV music show, "The Sandie Shaw Supplement", which aired on September 17, 1968, and the photo shoot for the album of the same name, released in November of that year. She is a passenger in the car for the "driving" shots, the RHD details clearly visible, especially on the album cover... Two steering wheels!

And the video, from the 1:00 minute mark... Evidently a LHD car was used for the interior close-ups, but the driving shots are in a RHD car -

    Enjoy!

I meant the long shots where the car is actually moving, not the interior close-ups accompanied with lots of camera shake.. Those shots over her left shoulder show the shifter in neutral and the gauge needles at zero -

In the opening shots, details like the mirror and wiper position, left side fuel door and lack of dash/instrument pods in front of Sandie's steering wheel all suggest RHD to me...

I have my doubts that Ms. Shaw was doing any driving that day, but nonetheless, her pantyhose-clad heel 'n' toe pedal action is quite impressive!
