I don't think they are mutually exclusive concepts. A car can be totally neglected and in disrepair, but also be completely original down to the last bolt. The question, then, is whether the components are restorable. If they are-which in the case of both of these Miura S's, the answer is yes-then they are very good project candidates. I do tend to agree with you, however, if you meant that advertising them as essentially "survivor" cars that can be cleaned up and safely driven with minimal effort is outrageous, because as with both of these, that's certainly not the case, I agree. Both need substantial work to the point of full restoration and to advertise them otherwise is nonsense.
