Thanks for posting, an interesting car no doubt, but I much prefer the SVR for so many reasons.

My P400 Chassis 3150 fresh off restoration from Dugan Enterprises. Incredible and highly detailed work. Good enough to win Best Lamborghini at Concourso. :)

I see quite a few people have posted on Instagram that Jean Todt's Polo Storico restored SV 3673 won 1st in class at Pebble Beach.

    Thank you!

As I said to Chris, all I did was write the checks. He did all the heavy lifting!

Great to see the outcome, some fine-tuning and you’ll have an even more spectacular specimen

Indeed a beautiful car, concratulations! I followed the restoration and got a lot of tips for the restoration of #3135.

But I don't understand how the so well revered restorators miss to do the headlight surroundings right. Even Polo Storico has missed.

The photos show how we do it in a little garage in Sweden.

Thanks, Nick! I remember the day we inspected it at your facility in NC. It’s been a long but worthwhile road!

Thanks. Chris actually had to redo a lot of things that were done by the first restorer.

Not sure what you are referring to on the headlamp surrounds? My car has clear lenses with different lamps for US homologation so likely different than yours. Happy to understand what you mean?

Our former Miura SV wins First in Class at Pebble Beach with its new owner, Mr. Jean Todt. Congratulations to the entire team at Lamborghini Polo Storico division. It is still emotional to see this car!!

Very cool to see it @ Pebble Beach. But did PS overpainted the air intake mesh of the sills in gold?

The mash in the sills was painted gold. The inner part of the roof air vents were blacked out, need to have red overspray inside. The shade of gold paint used seems off. Some swerl marks in the paint finish. Beautiful nevertheless.

It would seem in line with most Italian companies that the power outputs were exaggerated or were delivered with dyno optimised parts that would never exist on the real car. http://www.carobu.com/lamborghini-miura-v12

As I said, you've got a most beautiful car and I have studied your pictures from the restauration in your thread #3150 with joy.
    .
What I'm talking about is that original the vertical part of the headlamp surrounding shall be painted black to follow the line of the eylashes, and to make some of the rivets less visible. Also should the room for the rear lights be painted black so the color of the car don't come through between surroundings and lenses.
Small details, but they can tease your eyes.

    My best

This was only on the S. It was not done on the P400’s. The inner were just painted body color.

I have never seen it on an original P400. Do you have photos of any?
