The wing topic doesn't bother me in this thread. After all, it was the 400S that introduced the wing.

Peter, What was the reason for them altering it? Tall person conversion?

I've heard stories of putting a hole in the floorboard under the seat to get rid of your 80s drug of choice stash, just in case you were pulled over.

I'm going to move the wing comments to the wing thread soon. The comments...well what did you expect from a group of type A Lamborghini enthusiasts?

Looks like a nice reproduction of the swept-buttress moody. Honestly, it could be a one off reproduction. I've never seen another one like it.

I dont live by anyones decision but my own.I simply wanted to see what other opinions really were. I decided to keep the wing on because that is my preference. My point was that no wing on a Countach is not a deal breaker for me. I still think the car looks great without it, but I prefer it with it. Ive actually been thinking about buying the bigger wing to swap instead.

Peter, just keep it. Put it up on a shelf for display. It being a replica though, I wouldn't put it on your Countach. I have a replica Diablo wing that I just couldn't convince myself to put on the Diablo, it's shelf art in the shop now Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login .

And now, the sinister LP400S S1 Lowbody 1121094 as owned by a Countach Connoisseur, it doesn't have a wing, but now it does have a pair of FIA air vents, after using them this weekend the owner says:

"I tried the window vents out this morning, what a difference ... it was fantastic even in 90 degree weather. One happy driver! I noticed the vents actually create a cold-air effect ....".

His AC works as well, the idea is these units are to supplement the AC but not replace them entirely, the reality is that on-the-move they create a breeze and ventilation level that no AC can supply, so you are always better with them than without - unless you are driving in inclement weather or during the winter.

They look just as good with Bravos & Bullets.

    Happy Monday, People.
