Illustrates the unseriousness of a home made dyno test, lets all stick to factory nmbrs, wich matches real road tests real well.

Bear in mind that I'm having a discussion with Taffy about his LM002.

None of the dyno tests were home made, they are all documented as done by noted specialists under controlled conditions to the parameters described, the collated dyno sheet is an excellent comparative dyno illustration.

That said, we should always be curious about and question factory numbers, any objective person knows to do this, in the past you have questioned the factory numbers, suddenly you want to accept them.

No comparison road test of Fuelie vs Downdraft has ever been done, but, that could still happen.

Agreed. A healty road comparo sport tubes and all. Would be awesome. As far as factory nmbrs. They very much reflects the 0-60 nmbrs differences in old magazine tests. Fi cats and restricted. Dd with headers. As factory delivered. All things equal The 0-60 times will be very close one way or the other on the qV cars. On that note. Have a great weekend. Its family time.

I would love to have a T70 Mk IIIb. What a car. I got John Starkey’s Lola T70 book. He was nice enough to autograph it for me too.

Of topic, hopefully El Moderatoree'will give me some slack, anyway, very powerful cars,in terms of power to weight, add the American boat, real hp/torque,its like sitting on dynamite, 2 cars where small block, one coupe, one open, the last one was an absolute beast,800 or so hp 510 cu inch, less than 2000 lbs,fun times,we also did interior in all 3 cars.

:). I love all anything mechanical. Incidentally a friend that does marine inspections is doing one on a 90' boat I think you might have built.

I really thought you would have to change the deckled for clearance issues.

At least they could have taken a real DD engine lid and keep the old one original.

Raymond, a USA specialist has converted a handful of Fuelies by retrofitting them with Downdraft engines in the 1990s when units were still available.

You do, it has been cut & modified.

    Correct.

They likely were not able to source one at the time.
