No. Raymond was replying Alberto, all about #1120001, that had remained quite invisible most of its life between 1974 & 2000.

Speaking of #1120018, the car is still in France and in rather OK condition, though kept out of sight.
Unfortunately, that Countach had been repainted twice already. I hope a true enthusiast will restore it to that unique Marrone color someday.

Unfortunately, LP400 #1120058 has lost its original color a long time ago. And so far, no period photos were found.

Verde Chiaro is a pretty rare shade among other Lamborghini's too. But here's a nice Urraco to illustrate what Verde Chiaro looks like:

Thanks, that would be an amazing lp400 color, always wondered why this model never pops up in a vibrant green, such as the Miura,(with the exeption of the repainted Japanese lp400 in Miura green) but never a factory painted example, hopefully this car will at some point be restored back to this very cool color. Thanks for posting.

Yes, my trip with the Countach importer. I easily wound up doing over half the driving duty. I hit 150 MPH at one point and he started yelling to slow down. Afraid that any engine failure would be out of his pocket.

Me, in my long lost youth.

Looks to have wishbone suspension, not parallel links.

When I was growing up my Father and Uncle (his brother) ran a body shop in Toronto. They did work for both Young Steeles Motors and Leny's Garage and saw a few exotics come through. For sure the crown jewel was this LP400 that I endlessly looked at photos of dreaming one day to see or even ride in one. It was in for some paintwork because someone had pushed on the hood to 'feel' the suspension and had bent it.

As this is an LP400 vintage thread I present this image of my uncle Mario who passed away on Saturday. Arranging some of his things we found this image that has not been seen in at least 30 years with the image having been taken in 1977.

Thank you so much for this great photo and story!

This is LP400 #1120086, painted "Rosso - Nero" and delivered new to Toronto indeed.
In the 80s, this Countach received gold BBS wheels and later moved to California where is was nicely restored and famously registered [PURE70S].

My sincere condolences for the loss of your uncle Mario.
Our common passion, from your family side, through us here on the forum, is definitely living on forever defying time and distance.
If you've got more photos of this car, be sure to share it with us. Very much appreciated!

Thank you for the kind words. I'll look for a few more photos and will definitely post them if I find any. In the photo you will also see a yellow Ferrari 308. The owner wanted that car in boxer trim (bottom half black) so my uncle took in the all yellow car, masked off the top, and sprayed the bottom in black. Getting back to the LP400 my uncle admitted to me decades later that he did indulge in an 'extended test drive' with it and I do not blame him one bit for the indiscretion. Around 2006 (before the market took off) I was offered an LP400. I was just starting to shop for an LP and it was only later that I discovered that it was the same car. For me that is the one that got away.

While this is an LP400 thread I'll ask for some leniency to post a photo of my uncle Mario in 2017 exactly 40 years after the first picture was taken. This time he was with me on the day my first Lamborghini came off the truck.
