Everyone who sees it thinks it's kind of special, even non-car people.

Well, perhaps not these guys, they could care less.

    From Harry's page:

Nice to be out in the old warhorse over the weekend. Countach is hard work and a bit flakey in places but flip side is rewards are high and the engine mighty. Flat to the 7800rpm redline in 3rd is unforgettable, both aurally & physically, it’s those moments that make owning a Countach so memorable and very different to anything else on sale today.

Are you sure about that? Mine is JLA but no side skirts and with conventional a/c-heat controls. Are the console controls and side skirts how we decide a car is an 88 or 88.5?

Generally JLA does mean an 88.5 with side-skirts like the car below.

However, as with Lamborghini in the period there are always exceptions, so you're not alone.

Without being able to independently confirm their build status, I'm aware of some JLA cars that exist without side-skirts, for example, JLA12217 & JLA12229 (Fuelies) and JLA12246 & JLA12253 (Downdrafts).

Thanks for the response Joe... "Generally" as you stated pretty much sums it up. My number is in that range as 12210..It seems I rarely see other car numbers around mine. Does anyone have any pictures of them and were VINs in sequential order at this time?

Yes, 12210 is in the range of the cars I've noted as above.

I have images somewhere which I can dig up one day, the Downdrafts look just like yours.

VINs were never in exact sequence to completion dates in that era, again, the operative word is 'generally', that said, the VINs gave you a general idea of when the cars were completed.

They are gorgeous! Stunning looking couple of guys! Joe, you are looking well my friend!

This is an awesome find, thanks Joe! You know how hard it is to find content of the car being driven. I'm trying to rack my brains where that was taken. It must have been on the recent trip to get madam her MOT test. Love it, I'll have to try and get the vid onto Daisy's insta feed

    Thank you sir.

Our guys are Weimaraners, incredibly intelligent and beautiful creatures if I may say so, I'm just the trainer ;)

Nothing like a Countach randomly captured by a fan on the road, has happend to me many times, the proviso is you have to get the car out there for that to happen!
