Amazing how they just look so right on any post-LP400 Countach. In fact, it is quite amazing how many tyres, while iconic in their own right, still always look best on the vehicle they were originally designed in conjunction with; the P Zero on the F40, the Bridgestone RE 71 on the Porsche 959 and so-on.

    Agreed.

From a technical standpoint, these iconic tires are the ones which the cars were tested & developed for production on, and deemed by the manufacturer to enhance the car's driving characteristics the best.

That's why they were supplied with them.

The new Pirelli Cinturato P7s handle even better than the original version because of their obviously superior rubber compound, and so they are like the proverbial Manna From Heaven for Countach owners.

At this point if the driving experience matters to a Countach owner, the new P7s have no substitute.

And they look very cool as a bonus.

Reacting to an older post. Here is FLA12820’s front turn signal lights location. Mine is an early 1985 car.

There is reason to believe that this car has been subjected to some changes.

The FI tank nozzle position is definitely more userfriendly than on the carbed version.

Does this exhaust come with the 4 connecting pipes? Also could this be made in mild steel?

Yes it does, and I imagine Quicksilver will do (almost) anything for money including use mild steel if you really want them to, speak to Paul Goddard.

It still looks like something alien from another world. I'm amazed that no cars since, seem to have been able to surpass the Countach in OMG design. Sooo lucky to be an owner

I would be interested in your setup. Especially that you have a straight through muffler design. Not a glass packed muffler. If it is stainless that is also fine

Speak to them, they'll be happy to help.

It is a stainless steel unit ceramic-coated in satin black per period, but note that my setup is not completely straight-through with empty mufflers, they do have perforated tube internals to tune the sound to mimic a mild-steel unit.

    Utterly wonderful.

Can I ask where you sourced NOS headlights? And can you confirm the connectors? Are they H5006 and H5001?

I'm happy to connect you with a source that can help you. Shoot me a PM with your contact info. As for your question regarding connectors, I’m not certain, but hopefully these photos can help.

Looks to me like they're possibly H1, where the black (ground I assume) connects to the headlight assembly itself, and the other wise connects to the single connector on the bulb.

    My pleasure.

A number of people here have heard my car, perhaps they can chime in.

It's hard to capture any exhaust's audio accurately, but there are some clips in this film I produced in homage to Valentino that give you an idea.
